Simplify Media: Start sharing your music!

I recently met up with a good friend of mine from New Jersey, and we started talking about some of the new startups in the industry, as well as the different sites popping up around the web. One of the sites he showed me, Simplify Media, really struck a chord, and I decided to explore the site a little more deeply.

So what is Simplify Media all about?

Well, one thing we all know is that when someone hears a song they like, they usually want to share that song with all of their friends.  However, what if they want to share 10 songs, or even 100 songs, or what about their entire music library? With Simplify Media’s new software, this is now possible. According to their site, Simplify Media was created to “make it easier for people to access and enjoy their digital music, photos and videos with close friends and family.” With this new technology, users can now access their music library, as well as their friend’s libraries, from any computer around the world, without having to upload and download files via a website or learn a new user interface. Talk about accessible. Not only is the software compatible with iTunes and Winamp (also works on Linux), but you can also access the technology from your iPhone and iTouch. So what does this mean? Basically you can now triple or even quadruple your music library without taking up any space on your RAM.

Some other perks: Its FREE (No hidden charges, or spyware), and it also has great privacy settings (Files are streamed only within your private group).

Here is a video that explains the site in a little more detail.

So check out the site, sign up, and start sharing your music!

Until next time,
